Privacy policy
This policy explains how PeelGood, Sift, and Clefwise handle information. It applies to the current iOS versions of these apps. Effective August 19, 2026.
Barcode values, product names, and search terms are sent to independent product-information services to retrieve requested results. Those services receive standard network information, such as an IP address, as part of providing their service.
Camera barcode scanning and label-photo text recognition occur on your device. Scan history, saved products, meals, watch terms, and preferences are stored locally. PeelGood does not create a user profile or use this information for advertising.
When you request a visual search, the selected image and any search hint you provide are transmitted to Sift’s private relay and visual-search providers solely to return matching listings. Images may be held temporarily in private storage when a provider requires a retrievable image, then deleted immediately after the search completes. Sift does not maintain an image-search history on its server or use images for advertising.
Saved listings, fit preferences, and search history are stored on your device. Optional location is used on-device when you request nearby results and is not included with the visual-search image request.
Clefwise uses microphone access only when you start an exercise that listens for pitch or rhythm. Audio is recorded temporarily for on-device analysis, is not uploaded, and is deleted when analysis is complete.
Training progress and preferences are stored locally. Clefwise does not require an account, include advertising trackers, or transmit training recordings.
If you contact support, the information in your email is used only to respond, troubleshoot, and maintain an appropriate support record. Email is handled by the service providers used to route and store the message.
